Reading aloud to children every day, especially from when they are born, helps build key language, literacy, social and communication skills. The more we read aloud to our children, the larger their vocabularies will grow. Reading also creates a special bond between parents and children.

When it comes to reading a book to your little one, repetition helps them make sense of what they are hearing and it helps them remember new words.
